Edgewood Records was founded on the principle that if the world doesn’t look the way you want it to, do what you can to change it. Established in Richmond VA, the label started out as a means to put out releases for local hardcore bands and support our community at large. Edgewood has since grown into label producing acts from not only our home state of Virginia, but the greater northeast as well.
The future of the label only holds growth and support for genuine real hardcore beyond the lines of what we have already reached. In an era where the waters of hardcore can be muddied from all angles, be it the mainstream or be it from within, Edgewood Records seeks to produce and champion hardcore without gimmicks. Only the rawest, only the most sincere.
Hardcore is our life. We will stop at nothing to keep it true. We believe if you want something done, do it yourself.
